DebtMap — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 June 2026

DebtMap ("the app", "we", "us") is a personal debt-payoff planner. We built it to keep your financial information private. This policy explains what the app does and does not collect.

Your debt data stays on your device

Every debt you add — names, balances, interest rates, and payments — is stored locally on your device in an on-device database. DebtMap has no account system and no server that receives this data. We never see it. Deleting the app removes all of it.

Subscriptions

DebtMap Pro is an auto-renewable subscription sold through Apple. Payments are processed by Apple — we never receive your name, card, or payment details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status; it processes a randomly generated app user ID and your purchase receipt to tell the app whether Pro is active. This is the only information leaving your device, and it is used solely to deliver the subscription you purchased.

Notifications

If you enable the optional monthly reminder, it is scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to us or any third party.

What we don't do

No analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no selling or sharing of personal data. We do not collect your location, contacts, or device identifiers for tracking.

Children

DebtMap is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the date above.
