Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 September 2026

Estimate is built so that there is nothing to leak. This policy describes the whole of its data handling, and it is short because the app does very little.

What Estimate collects

Nothing is sent to us. Estimate has no account system, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers and no server of its own.

Everything you enter — your plans and every field in them — is stored only on your device, in a local database and in an Apple App Group container that lets the home-screen widget show your active plan’s progress. We cannot see any of it.

What leaves your device

Only one thing, and only if you buy the one-time Estimate Pro unlock: the purchase is handled by Apple and by RevenueCat, our in-app-purchase infrastructure provider. They receive an anonymous purchase identifier and whether the unlock is active, so the app knows to enable Pro features. They never receive anything you type into the app — that content is never transmitted anywhere.

Children

Estimate is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.

Deleting your data

Settings → Erase all data deletes everything the app holds, immediately and permanently. Deleting the app has the same effect. Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
