ExitCheck — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 June 2026

ExitCheck ("the app", "we", "us") is a simple leave-the-house checklist that helps you confirm you locked the door, turned off the stove, and so on. We built it to keep your information private. This policy explains what the app does and does not collect.

Your data stays on your device

Everything you create in ExitCheck — your checklist items, completed checks, streaks, badges, stats, and reminder settings — is stored locally on your device. ExitCheck has no account system and no server that receives this data. We never see it. Deleting the app removes all of it.

Subscriptions

ExitCheck Pro is an auto-renewable subscription sold through Apple. Payments are processed by Apple — we never receive your name, card, or payment details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status; it processes a randomly generated app user ID and your purchase receipt to tell the app whether Pro is active. This is the only information leaving your device, and it is used solely to deliver the subscription you purchased.

Notifications

If you enable the optional reminders, they are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to us or any third party.

What we don't do

No analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no selling or sharing of personal data. We do not collect your location, contacts, or device identifiers for tracking.

Children

ExitCheck is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the date above.
