LeaveBy is built to keep your information on your device. We do not run servers that store your content, we have no user accounts, and we do not sell, rent, or share your data. There is no advertising and no cross-app tracking.
Everything you put into LeaveBy is stored locally on your iPhone:
This data never leaves your device. We cannot see it. Deleting the app deletes it.
Leave reminders are local notifications, scheduled entirely on your device. We do not send push notifications from a server, and nothing about your schedule is transmitted anywhere to make reminders work.
When you tap to send a "running late" message or share an on-time streak, LeaveBy opens the standard iOS share sheet with a message you can review first. Nothing is shared unless you choose to send it, and it goes only to the app you pick.
The optional $0.99 unlock is a one-time purchase processed by Apple — it is not a subscription. To recognise your purchase (and restore it on a new phone) we use RevenueCat, which processes a limited amount of data to make purchases work:

LeaveBy is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children.
