What can I spend today without going broke before payday?
Last updated: 24 July 2026
Spendable is built so that there is nothing to leak. This policy describes the whole of its data handling, and it is short because the app does very little.
Nothing is sent to us. Spendable has no account system, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers and no server of its own.
Everything you enter — your balance, payday, pay cycle, bills, buffer, logged spending and daily history — is stored only on your device, in a local database and in an Apple App Group container that lets the widget read your current figure. We cannot see any of it.
Only one thing: if you subscribe to Spendable Plus, the purchase is handled by Apple and by RevenueCat, our subscription infrastructure provider. They receive an anonymous subscriber identifier and the status of your subscription so the app knows whether Plus is active. They never receive your balance, your bills or your spending — that data is never transmitted anywhere.
The optional daily check-ins are local notifications scheduled on your device. No push token is registered and no notification server is involved. They deliberately contain no figures.
Spendable is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
Settings → Erase all data deletes everything Spendable holds, immediately and permanently. Deleting the app has the same effect. Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
