What is Daybreak?
Daybreak gives you one card each morning with your local weather, today's calendar events, a single focus for the day, and a short morning message.
What does Daybreak Plus add?
The free version builds your briefing from your schedule with rule-based text. Daybreak Plus unlocks AI-personalized briefings that read your day and write a tailored focus and message in the tone you choose. Plus is a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription with a free trial.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, select Daybreak, and change or cancel there. If you cancel, Plus stays active until the end of the current period. Reinstalled the app or got a new phone? Tap Restore Purchases on the paywall.
Why does the app ask for calendar and location access?
Calendar access lets Daybreak show today's events; location lets it show local weather. Both are optional — if you decline, the app still works and simply skips that part (weather falls back to sample data).
How do I change when my morning briefing arrives?
Open Settings → Delivery time in the app and pick your wake time. Make sure notifications are enabled for Daybreak in iOS Settings.
How do I delete my data?
Daybreak stores everything on your device — there are no accounts. Use Settings → Clear history to remove saved briefings, or delete the app to remove all of its data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
