How is my impact calculated?
Each action carries an approximate per-completion figure (kg CO₂e, liters of water, grams of waste) drawn from published averages. GreenEarth adds up what you log — all on your device. Figures are estimates for guidance, not precise measurements.
Is my data private?
Completely. GreenEarth has no accounts, and everything you enter stays on your phone. The app only goes online to process an optional GreenEarth+ purchase (handled by the app store and RevenueCat). See the privacy policy.
Do I need an internet connection?
No — GreenEarth works fully offline for everything. The only thing that needs a connection is making or restoring a GreenEarth+ purchase.
How are my actions personalized?
The 60-second quiz estimates where your footprint is highest, then ranks actions by impact, relevance to your hotspots, and effort — so your plan leads with high-impact, low-effort wins.
How do I turn on reminders?
Open the You tab and toggle “Daily reminder,” then pick morning, midday, or evening.
How do I change my plan?
Go to the Actions tab to add or remove actions, or retake the quiz from the You tab to rebuild your plan.
How do I reset everything?
You tab → “Reset all data.” This clears your footprint, plan, and logged impact on your device.
